On August 21, the delegation from Lhasa Economic Development Zone and Comprehensive Free Trade Zone visited Nanjing Cross-border E-commerce Industry Association for investigation and exchange. The two sides held a discussion on promoting the coordinated development of cross-border e-commerce industry and deepening the cooperation between eastern and western regions.
At the symposium, the Lhasa side provided a detailed introduction to local industrial policies, geographical advantages, and functional facilities of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone, hoping to leverage the association's resource channels to guide high-quality e-commerce enterprises to settle in Lhasa. The association shared service experiences in industrial incubation and international resource alignment, and stated that it would actively build cooperation bridges between eastern and western enterprises to jointly expand new cross-border e-commerce channels under the Belt and Road Initiative.
During this meeting, the two sides initially established a strategic coordination mechanism. In the future, they will focus on promoting practical cooperation such as policy promotion and corporate visits to Tibet, jointly cultivate new momentum for cross-border e-commerce in Xizang, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
